This position is responsible for overseeing the development and management of the Specialty Space Operations teams in a collaborative environment that builds upon team strengths. This position is also responsible for cultivating and maintaining business relationships with key program stakeholders to support client experience execution, understand business needs, and ensure effective delivery of program offerings and services. The role will reside within the Meetings CoE, supporting and working directly with various program stakeholder groups such as Executive Accelerators, Greenhouse, and The Smart Factory @ Wichita to develop the team and processes to effectively execute on the vision and scope of client experiences.
Responsibilities
Management of Operations
Define clear business objectives and guide the work of others using strong problem-solving skills to address complex service challenges
Guide team to ensure adherence to meeting protocols (cost saving measures, risk policies, contract approvals) while maintaining client service focus
Develop new operating standards and processes to grow efficiency and excellence in conjunction with business needs
Deliver exceptional client service with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
Assist in driving process improvement for all specialty spaces and programs
Collaboration and Relationship Management
Encourage collaborative environment with other teams (One Team, etc.)
Liaison between Meetings COE/Office Experience to ensure successful program deliveries on unique requests
Partner with MES Registration team to deliver and execute upon efficient registration process for all specialty spaces and programs
Developing new processes to drive innovation and efficiency within Specialty Space Operations
Collaborate on special projects as needed within the COE and broader Business Services teams
Partners with leadership to develop and execute service strategies, programs, and processes for delivering a superior customer experience; ensures consistent implementation and compliance of regional and national One Team initiatives
People Development
Foster a positive, collaborative environment; meeting regularly with direct reports to understand issues, service challenges, and provide continuous, ongoing performance feedback
Performance management of the specialty space operations team
Serves as a role model and primary counselor to direct reports. Mentors, coaches and assists in the development of direct reports
Recruits and develops high performing talent; interviews, makes hiring recommendations and coordinates onboarding and training of new hires and transfers
Understands and assesses skill levels to recommend appropriate training and professional development; counsels and motivates direct reports to capitalize on their strengths and improve development areas.
Leads and embraces change
Creates an environment that builds accountability for and commitment to meeting objectives; builds trust, confidence and credibility with direct reports, which includes the ability to exercise discretion when dealing with privileged, personal or confidential topics
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do with the Workplace Experience COE team.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
8 - 10 years of relevant experience supervising others in a large corporate environment
Strong technical skills and solid understanding of MS Office

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $181,900.
