PCSI HVAC Manager - Fort Sill in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma

Description

PCSI is looking for an HVAC Manager to lead the HVAC shop on Fort Sill! The HVAC Manager oversees, plans, and schedules the daily maintenance operations of all HVAC systems on post and ensures work is completed within the budget and compliance standards of the contract. This role is responsible for documenting and tracking service orders and acts as the point of contact for site leadership and the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). The HVAC Manager provides leadership and technical guidance to HVAC mechanics, boiler mechanics, and other maintenance technicians in the department.

What You'll Do as HVAC Manager:

  • Oversee daily activities of craftsmen, and comply with various federal, Army, and local regulations.

  • Enforce and work within company policies and procedures and direct the short- and long-term planning, scheduling, and inspection of daily operations of the contract.

  • Responsible for maintaining and documenting project records and serves as a point of contact for site-related maintenance activities and works closely and in partnership with the DPW staff.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate HVAC daily shop operations to facilitate post readiness of all HVAC systems and achieve completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with company policies.

  • Provide direction for the preventative maintenance program for all cooling and heating systems.

  • Ensure work to be accomplished is completed safely and in a timely manner.

  • Tracking service orders for quality and completion.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and systems that meet or exceed quality standards and are within budget.

  • Report significant issues in a timely manner to management as necessary.

  • Provide supervision to department trades to include HVAC mechanics, boiler mechanics, general maintenance workers, and electronic technicians.

  • Plan, schedule, and inspect work to be accomplished by trades.

  • Answer technical questions and provide guidance and counsel to employees.

  • Provide data, reports, and documentation of work.

  • Review and introduce new work practices.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ten years supervisory and combined trades experience and a working knowledge of large installation facilities operations (previous government contractor experience preferred).

  • Must possess EPA Universal Certification.

  • Journeyman License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical proficiency in multi-trade technical fields to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC systems associated with maintaining large installation, multi-story, and multi-complex facilities.

  • Must possess the ability to develop a positive working relationship with customers and employees.

  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

  • Must possess working knowledge of computer software applications, including MS Office Suite.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

  • Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.

  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach.

  • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

  • If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
