MAG Sr Acquisition Analyst in Ft. Meade, Maryland

MAG is looking for Sr. Acquisition Analysts to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). As key members of our team, the Sr Acquisition Analysts will provide executive-level acquisition support of the US Navy. Place of performance for this position is in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Must hold a current Top Secret DoD security clearance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Prepare briefings and strategy recommendations for the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) documentation including, but not limited to, those listed in DoD 5000.02.
Attend, document, and summarize meetings
Provide training and develop evaluation board analysis reports for proposal evaluations.
Develop program and project documentation, risk management documentation, acquisition plans, and program schedules
Coordinate quarterly Program Management Review for the PMO to include briefing template development, scheduling, briefing book preparation, and meeting coordination.
Monitor Cost, Schedule, and Performance of NCWDG entities
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of5 years’ experiencerelated to systems acquisition, including logistics, research and development, configuration management or systems analysis or design
Experience working on, or managing, programs including at least 5 years in science and technology or research, development, test and evaluation programs
Experience briefing and developing briefs for Flag Officers and Senior Executives
Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to include the development of acquisition strategies, development of budget and financial management documentation, and monitoring project performance and contract deliverables.
Proficient managing research and development projects
Proficient developing program budget and program execution plans to track against financial benchmarks
Proficient with DoD contracting procedures and guidance including DFARS and FAR.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering Management, Business or relevant technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
Allowable substitution: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree AND an additional 5 years of experience in engineering management and supervision of a project in an engineering field (10 years of above experience all together)

Possess eligibility for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED)
Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future
Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years
Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible
Other Qualifications
DAU Level 2 Certification (in Program Management, SPRDE, or Systems Engineering) or equivalent
Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25%

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $170000 to $200000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
