RN PDP needed to supplement infusion staffing

Per Diem - Day shift

  • Identifies patient problems, initiates nursing directions, provides direct/indirect nursing intervention, and maintains appropriate patients clinical records.

  • Reports pertinent observations and nursing actions to Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. * Notifies physician, in a timely manner, of any pertinent physical or emotional findings and documents appropriately. * Evaluates and documents the patient s response to nursing and medical intervention in accordance with Policy and Procedure. * Maintains constant awareness of potential safety hazards to patients, assuring necessary safety precautions are implemented. * Reassesses patient according to unit-specific policy and procedures; makes changes as necessary; and documents appropriate information in patient s chart. * Anticipates and responds to changes in patient s condition, based on knowledge of disease process.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least one (2) years of Infusion experience.

Licensure/Certification:

  • FL RN license

  • BLS from AHA

  • ACLS
