Who We Are

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Simulation Center Facility Manager to join our Global Security team at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. This role will be supporting the Army's - Aerial Combat Defense Capabilities (ACDC) program.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.

  • Plan and incorporate installation, maintenance and sustainment of facility systems.

  • Inspect, repair and renovate existing structures.

  • Manage facility staff and external users, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Configure facility and systems to meet mission requirements.

  • Travel to and inspect, repair, renovate and oversee configuration changes to meet mission requirements.

  • Manage and allocate space requirements with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Determine project schedule by consulting with subject matter experts; studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

  • Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation.

  • Promptly respond to routine and emergency calls for maintenance and repairs

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

  • Ensure that project management and organizational processes are followed.

  • Prepare briefs and present to multiple levels within participating organizations.

  • Other tasking as designated by supervisor.

What You Must Have

  • Must currently have and be able to maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.

  • A Bachelor's in Computer Science, or related field.

  • IAT Level II Certification (Security +).

  • Five years of experience with IAMD virtual training systems, LVC Simulation architectures and exercises, Network and Systems Administration and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Experience in project management of personnel and resources.

  • Experience with tactical data sets and communications in an IAMD environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 7 years relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 6 years relevant experience. An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job’s education requirements. Example: If this job required a bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience.

  • Master's degree in business administration, Engineering or Computer Sciences.

  • DOD acquisition, technology development, systems integration, operations, and contract experience.

Physical Requirements

Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
