Job Title: Receptionist
Salary: £11.56 per hour
Location: Garston Veterinary Group, five branches
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Option of either 40 hours per week over four days or 30 hours per week over three days. Shift patterns are variable but rota will be published 2 months in advance. Typically, this will be 8am until 6.30pm or 8.30am until 7pm with a 30-minute lunch break. 1:4 Saturdays required.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the fantastic team at Garston Veterinary Group, Somerset.
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate receptionist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. You will be responsible for welcoming clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and providing support to our friendly team.
This is a busy, varied role so previous experience would be preferable but not necessary.
Roles and responsibilities include
Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures
Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone
Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
Processing prescription requests
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked
