Insight Global Network Administrator (Remote) in Frisco, Texas

Job Description

At Legends, a global premium experiences company specializing in holistic solutions for sports and entertainment, the Network Admin will play a crucial role in supporting our extensive network infrastructure. Working closely with the Lead Network Engineer, this position involves managing support tickets, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, maintaining firewalls by applying patches and updates and overseeing access controls. You can expect to handle approximately five tickets a day using ServiceNow, supporting over 500 sites. Additionally, the role includes installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software, including servers, routers, and switches. and. This individual will collaborate closely with the Lead Network Engineer and manage escalations from the helpdesk.

Skills and Requirements

- 3-5+ years in a network administrator role

- Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure and TCP/IP networking protocols.

- Experience managing support tickets, troubleshooting, resolving network issues, managing access and access controls.

- Experience implementing security measures, protecting our environment and data, monitoring for unusual activity.

- Experience Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software: Including servers, routers, and switches.

- Experience working in a distributed environment- Not everything is centralized.

- Strong documentation skills: updating and keeping record, documenting changes, configurations, and activities.

- Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux, proficiency with Cisco and Palo Alto networks.

- Experience handling approximately 5 tickets a day using ServiceNow or a similar system.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to take initiative, can operate with little to no direction no hand holding! - Additional relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCSA

- A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field of study

- Experience with Azure Cloud networking

- Strong experience with both Palo Alto and Cisco null
