• This position schedules surgical and anesthesia care provider procedures within established guidelines.

• Coordinates resources available for maximum utilization.

• Obtains patient and procedural information, prints, distributes, and updates schedules.

• Keeps statistical information.

• Performs computer data entry and retrieval.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• In addition to scheduling, the Perioperative Scheduler Lead will oversee day to day operations.

• Will participates in hiring and selection of new hires, staff training and education, and quality and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

• Strong computer skills

Light Work - exert/lift up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently)
