Description
This position reports to the Supervisor and the responsibilities will include developing on-the-job training checklists and content with subject matter experts and delivering training related to assembly operations, assembly-support processes, computer applications, Quality procedures and Lean Manufacturing Principles, creating course materials, assessing the effectiveness of training programs and participating in continuous improvement projects. Must have experience in relevant electronic assembly operations
Responsibilities:
• Creation of training content and checklists for assembly operations, including cable assemblies, soldering, and PCB assemblies.
• Development of instructional materials for assembly-support processes, such as handling of Bill of Materials, production travelers, production prints, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Designing training content for computer applications, encompassing the use of Infor (company ERP system), Factory Track, and CentrallyHR.
• Coordination and delivery of comprehensive training programs to team members.
• Development of on-the-job training checklists for various electronic assembly operations.
Requirements
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Writing.
• Proficiency in creating Instructional Material is a necessity.
• The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• The ability to translate complex technical information into understandable content is crucial.
• The candidate should be adept in using various tools for documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• The applicant must have good research skills and the ability to understand new concepts quickly.
• The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in technical writing is a plus.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a team as well as independently.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are highly desirable
