Robert Half Receptionist in Fridley, Minnesota

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the manufacturing industry located in Fridley, Minnesota. This role primarily involves performing administrative tasks, helping in the HR space, managing front desk operations, and handling documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Restructuring administrative tasks for improved efficiency.

• Assisting in HR-related functions as needed.

• Managing the front desk operations including checking in and signing in visitors.

• Responsible for the security of the front door, ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry.

• Handling daily mail intake, scanning it, and delivering it to the appropriate supervisors.

• Answering incoming phone calls and taking messages.

• Processing documentation from visitors for record-keeping purposes.

• Providing a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors through friendly greetings and interactions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel for administrative tasks.

• Administering badges as needed. Requirements

• Proficiency in answering multi-line phone system

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy

• Experience in email correspondence

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Organizational skills, particularly in file management

• Experience in scheduling appointments

• Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently

• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry would be advantageous

• Receptionist experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Professional and courteous demeanor

• Knowledge of office procedures and protocols

• High school diploma or equivalent
