Job Description

• We are looking for an entry-level Paint Prepper/Sandblaster to join our team.

• You will be prepping truck trailers to be painted

• This individual will assist in the paint department with tasks such as sanding, power washing trailers, grinding, applying masking tape, and occasionally buffing.

• These tasks are essential to prepare trailers for painting.

• The role offers an opportunity for growth, with training provided to advance into painting larger parts over time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the paint department with sanding and power washing trailers.

• Use grinding tools and apply masking tape.

• Occasionally perform buffing tasks.

• Prepare trailers for painting by completing all necessary pre-painting tasks.

• Start with painting smaller parts and gradually take on more responsibilities.

Work Environment

• The work involves all trailer-related tasks, with 85% of the work focused on DOT prep/certification of trailers, including minor repairs and adjustments on brakes, lights, fluids, and tires.

• The remaining work consists of custom welding, modification, and repair of used trailers for customers.

Pay: $19 - 22hr / 1st shift
