We are partnering with an American animal law advocacy organization to source a Litigation Paralegal with proven experience assisting in trial. This role is essential to providing hands-on support throughout trial proceedings on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in trial support, from organizing evidence and preparing binders to providing in-court assistance to attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end litigation support to attorneys, with active involvement in trial proceedings

• Organize, prepare, and manage trial binders, exhibits, and evidence for courtroom use

• Draft, proofread, and file trial-related documents and motions

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and in-court arguments

• Assist with witness preparation, coordination, and management

• Oversee discovery documents and manage trial evidence

• Offer real-time, in-court assistance to attorneys to facilitate smooth trial operations

• Ensure adherence to trial schedules and deadlines through coordinated team support

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal with a substantial background in in-trial support

• Demonstrated expertise in handling trial binders, managing exhibits, and providing in-court assistance

• Familiarity with CA court procedures, including e-filing

• Availability to work on-site in Fresno, CA throughout the trial period

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment

• Proficiency with legal research tools and document management software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to changing trial demands
