Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction Documentation: Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system (1) (2).

Medical Process Learning: Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in patient supervision and documentation (1) (2).

Medical Records Completion: Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records (1) (2).

Professional Communication: Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians professionally (1) (2).

Administrative Tasks: Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the Physician take tests and give out medication (1) (2).

Prescription Assistance: Helping electronically prescribe medication for patients (1).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Certification

 High school degree or equivalent required; some college preferred

Skills/Experience

 Min. 1 year experience, preferably in medical environment

 Computer familiarity

 Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

 Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

 Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

 Ability to calmly and professionally deal with diverse population

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 Highly organized

 Customer service oriented

 Knowledge of medical terminology a plus

Proven work experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role (2).

Ability to expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments (2).

Advanced computer skills to transcribe and record information across the network (2).

Strong organizational and time management skills (2).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (2).
