What is the job about?
Grundfos is seeking an experienced Lead Finance Business Partner to support its Industry Operations performance unit in the Americas region.
As a Lead Finance Business partner, you will support your unit with information, analysis, financial forecasting, revenue and expense budgeting. You will coordinate workflow among the plants relating to the business units or regions.
You will represent Finance in the management team of the performance unit with the purpose of proactively supporting and constructively challenging the management team in the definition and execution of business plans. You will also contribute, with constant focus on performance management and with high quality analysis, to strengthen the decision-making processes. You are accountable for Operational related Finance in the performance unit and act as one point of contact for the management team.
You will report directly to the Finance Director for Industry Operations and will operate out of our Fresno, CA facility.
Your main responsibilities :
With a forward-looking approach, provide financial insights to the operation regional management team on strategic and tactical level when defining long and short-term business plans, quantifying the plans and setting milestone targets. Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide business decision support to management.
Secure in any business decision the financial value creation based on group profitability mindset and link to the overall strategy.
Accountable for deploying and developing the financial acumen in all levels and functions of the performance unit.
Drive the financial performance management in regional management team in the definition of both long term and short term KPIs and the selection of relevant measurements. Monitor and follow up on main KPIs and ensure that the unit management team is taking corrective actions, if needed.
Drive the financial planning process, hereunder prepare the annual budget, periodic forecasts including suggestions to corrective actions and participation in relevant stakeholder meetings.
Be accountable for supporting or driving Strategic initiatives/projects in the Performance unit.
Accountable on all financial matters in the performance unit, and take leadership in the finance community by involving, coaching, developing the relevant parties in FP&A, Shared service and Compliance controlling.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
Most likely to have 6-7 years of relevant work experience.
Understanding of supply chain and operation management, and product costing.
Knowledge of financial principles.
Experience building planning models, including strategy, budgets and forecast cycles/programs.
End-to-end value chain perspective, enabling collection of data from multiple source systems and translation into an aggregate dashboard.
The ability to evaluate and question proposals and decisions in a constructive, objective and professional way. Provides alternative options and keeps the long-term interests of all stakeholders in mind.
The ability to clearly and concisely summarize data and present conclusions to senior management.
Good analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Extensive experience using complex spreadsheets and datasets to consolidate and analyze data.
Proven ability to work closely with Management.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and be self-sufficient.
Good knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana, FI, SD modules), Business Warehouse, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI would be an advantage.
Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work with minimal direction in an open, continuously changing environment.

The pay range for this position is $102,485 to 130,203. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.
Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
