Job Description

The IT Manager role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure to ensure it is robust, reliable, and aligned with the company’s operational and strategic goals. This position plays a critical role in managing the organization’s physical and virtual server environments, providing technical support to internal users, and optimizing IT systems for security, efficiency, and scalability. The IT Manager is also responsible for maintaining compliance with best practices, driving technological innovation, and fostering a proactive IT culture that supports the company’s growth and client-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.

• Manage physical and virtual server environments.

• Provide technical support to internal users.

• Optimize IT systems for security, efficiency, and scalability.

• Maintain compliance with IT best practices.

• Drive technological innovation within the organization.

• Foster a proactive IT culture that supports company growth.

Essential Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in Windows Server administration.

• Exposure to Exchange Server and IT support.

• Proficiency with Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell scripting.

• Basic Exchange Server management.

• Strong understanding of IT security best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

• CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Server and scripting software.

Work Environment

This role is based on a 50-100 employee campus in Fresno, CA. The individual will have support and hands-on training from a seasoned professional who has performed this role for over 15 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.07/hr.
