Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor role is a management role with the Hertz Corporation that provides leadership and administrative support to all maintenance functions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing service maintenance on all vehicles within the Pool as well as managing the maintenance department employees. Must have excellent multi-tasking and verbal/written communication skills and the ability to manage, develop, and motivate staff.

The following responsibilities are for the maintenance supervisor position but are not limited to:

• Submitting body damage claims within 1 hour of check-in

• Submitting glass damage claims within 1 hour of check-in

• Daily follow-up on body damage and glass units for both the airport and HLE

• Assisting HLE with all OOS units

• Completing the salvage process and DL within 2 days of approval

• Performing lot reconciliation for all OOS units

• Locating and assigning raw OOS units

• Following up with vended MM units for both the airport and HLE

• Updated OEM Scanners and assisting mechanics with usage

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 2+ years in a management or supervisory role overseeing the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be computer literate with strong keyboarding skills. Must have excellent multi-tasking and verbal/written communication skills. General understanding of maintenance practices (preventative and warranty preferred). Flexibility in scheduling to the needs of the operation is required, which may include nights weekends, nights, graveyard shifts, evenings, holidays, and as needed. No set schedule.
