Insight Global Inventory Control Specialist in Fremont, California

Job Description

  • Responsible for safeguarding and releasing wafer orders to Lab personnel.

  • Responsible for maintaining data Integrity within our Inventory Management System.

  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.

  • Performs Lab reclaim services multiple times throughout the workday.

  • RFID tag customer wafers to ensure 100% accountability.

  • Monitors Inventory Dashboard throughout the day for newly submitted Inventory Requests. Picks and stages material for pickup.

  • Resolve discrepancies, examine, and investigate misidentified or out of balance items with root cause analysis and identifying necessary preventive measure to assure there are no re-occurrence.

  • Maintains inventory accuracy by performing annual audits/cycle counts.

  • Resolve process issues related to material managements, warehousing, and control.

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply, Distribution, and Logistics) to ensure inventory control practices are being followed.

  • Assists in various projects including but not limited to; 5S implementation, purging material, inventory audits.

  • This role offers pay between $27.00-30.00/hr based on experience

Skills and Requirements

  • 0-3 years purchasing/inventory management experience - Intangibles are most important

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and an ability to learn quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Excellent computer and mathematical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • NO JOB HOPPING - An interest in Project Management or previous experience working with Project Management

  • Advanced Excel Skills are a MAJOR plus (Vlookup, Mass Data Mgmt., etc.) null
