Job Title: Chemical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking four Chemical Technicians to join our team. We have openings on the day shift, swing shift, and night shift. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs consistently, and working with hazardous chemicals daily. You will process parts using both chemical and manual cleaning methods, maintain the organization and upkeep of your assigned process area, and work in a cleanroom environment. Participation in safety programs and completion of various trainings is essential. You must be adept at organizing tasks, efficiently managing your time, and reporting achieved task goals. Maintaining a high degree of safety and environmental awareness is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods of time

• Lift up to 40 lbs on a consistent basis

• Work with hazardous chemicals daily

• Process parts utilizing both chemical and manual cleaning methods

• Perform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area

• Work in a cleanroom environment

• Participate in and adhere to safety program and complete various trainings

• Maintain exceptional organizational skills and efficient time management

• Report out achieved task goals

• Maintain high degree of safety and environmental awareness through the practice of safe work habits

• Attend monthly safety meetings and training programs

• Handle hazardous chemicals safely, including their use and disposal

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing processes

• Proficient in chemical handling

• Familiarity with production line operations

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing

• Packaging experience

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment

• Quality control and inspection skills

• Ability to take SPC measurements and log data

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies is desired

Work Environment

This role involves working in a cleanroom environment with shifts available on day (6am-2:30pm), swing (2pm-10:30pm), and night (10pm-6am). You will work with various hazardous chemicals including hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, deionized water, acetone, isopropyl, bleach, ammonia, and caustic soda. Safety programs and training are integral parts of our work culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREMONT, California.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
