Growing healthcare dining company is looking to hire a creative, highly skilled, and talented Chef Manager for our Long Term Care Facility. This position is responsible for maximizing our client experience by controlling and managing all aspects of daily food preparation, production, and presentation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for all culinary activities including leading, supervising, motivating, and training our culinary team to consistently achieve high standards and excel in the meals they prepare
Maintaining effective relationships with client’s management team; ensuring proper safety and sanitation in accordance with all regulations
Assuring recipes are followed to assure consistent quality standards and make recommendations for ongoing improvement and more!
Outstanding culinary skills, a passion for food, and excellent knowledge of gourmet food preparation.
High energy for working long shifts and be flexible as to hours/days worked, as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image.
Effective organizational, problem solving skills are necessary.
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully in all circumstances.
Ability to effectively delegate, plan, work under pressure in a small area, and have excellent attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related degree
CDM or equivalent, is required.
Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Healthcare and Hospitality preferably in a long term care facility.
5+ years of successful supervisory experience is required.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
