Job Description: Create and assemble wood formsand concrete forms for heavy highway-related projects Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Build concrete forms. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts. Performs tasks involving use of hands and tools; i.e. sawing lumber and dismantling forms. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience as a Carpenter is a strong plus/preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Work independently, as well as within a group. Work rapidly and accurately with hands. Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure. Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding. Work from a secured elevated position. Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required. Lift and carry objects weighing 50 - 70 pounds. Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects. Follow specific directions. Stand and walk for long periods. Judge straight lines, spaces, and proportions Read and understand measuring tools. Compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
