The Home Care Scheduler - Recruiter is responsible for scheduling of field staff, managing all touch-points (field staff, care recipient, and family caregiver), client care standards, recruiting of field staff, and ensuring the branch meets or exceeds inquiry conversion goals. Benefits * Weekly pay with direct deposit * PTO * Eligible for a 401k retirement plan * Health Insurance Job Responsibilities * Scheduling and care coverage – supports scheduling process and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime; ensures assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed. * Customer/client care – serves as point of contact for client/customer relations. * Leads recruiting activities to efficiently and effectively fill open positions; build networks to find qualified passive candidates; attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition. * Conducts interviews for candidate field employees; coordinates orientation for new employees. * Preparing and sending new employee orientation packages and on-boarding new hires. * Communicate with employees and field staff regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads. * Shares on-call duty (handling phones and supporting clients/staff after hours) * Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies * Assists in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities * Assists the Director of Nursing with Joint Commission activities and assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of a client’s care * Supervises, educates, and coaches field personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing * Provide information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities * Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws * Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws Requirements * Scheduling and recruiting experience within the Home Care field preferred; must be comfortable handling complex home care office demands * Good computer skills (Internet and Word essential, Excel preferred) * High School Diploma required. College degree preferred. * Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST * Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a scheduler and/or recruiter within a healthcare office setting; knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare office regulations. * Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills. * Valid driver’s license; valid state required proof of auto insurance.
