GMS INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY INC Pick and Pack Team Member in Fredericksburg, Texas
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Picking items from stock, inspecting, and packing products based on daily orders
- Maintaining records or incoming and outgoing shipments
- Attention to detail
- Ensure that each product component is correct and that the correct labels and shipping information is assigned
- Ensure safety regulations are followed
- Maintain a clean work space
- Keep product organized
- Prepare paperwork and labeling for outgoing shipments as needed
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Other various tasks assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Punctuality
- Fluent in English
- Experience in packing and wood crating
- Ability to operate a forklift and become forklift-certified
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Willing to undergo a background check
- Willing to work overtime, as necessary
- Physical stamina (lifting, bending, able to work in extreme temperatures)
- Ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
