location: Frederick, Maryland

responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Sr Business Analyst to join our team working on a large-scale enterprise platform project. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, leveraging their domain expertise to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions using User Experience/Human Centered Design methodologies

• Create detailed process maps and user journeys, refining use cases to reflect common and impactful user actions

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, supporting efficient configuration and implementation of new systems

• Validate use cases and create user stories that accurately represent business requirements

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the interface meets business requirements and supports seamless data flow

• Assist in integrating AI tools to enhance user experience and automate tasks, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines

• Work with clients to define platform Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics

• Collaborate with diverse teams including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Full Stack Developers

• Create and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation

Required Skills and Experience:

• strong background in business analysis and domain expertise relevant to the project.

• Experience with User Experience/Human Centered Design methodologies

• Proficiency in creating process maps, user journeys, and use cases

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their business applications

• Experience in defining and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics

• strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

• Experience with large-scale enterprise projects and federal compliance requirements
