ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to join our team in Ft Detrick, MD . This is a hybrid position with three days onsite and two days telework weekly. Expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support full SDLC services for Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) defined priorities to include design, development, test, verification, network, organization, and access changes

• Communicate well on all levels to various government and contractor support personnel including Developers, Business Analysts, Testers, Engineers, Operations Administrators, and Leadership; Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CM, Database, Development, and Business Analysts.

• Conduct manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, JavaScript, QTP, and Core Java

• Provide functional and technical testing solutions for complex systems, adhering to SAFe and Agile development methodologies; Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Scenarios, Test Designs, and Test Cases for both Manual and Automation testing; Execute integration testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, and Performance/Stress testing; Perform Accessibility testing using JAWS, Deque-axe Tool, and ANDI, ensuring compliance with 508 standards.

• Utilize API testing tools like Swagger, SoapUI, and Postman.

• Engage in defect reporting and tracking using JIRA, Serena Business Manager, and other software tools; Prepare for and conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results

• Analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures; Work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration; Provide specialized testing and evaluation capabilities tailored to system functions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field / or 6 years of related experience to include a minimum of 2 years of testing related experience

• Experienced with databases: Oracle required, MongoDB, PostgreSQL desired

• Knowledgeable in configuration management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git, Serena Business Manager (SBM)

• Certified DHS 508 Tester and experienced with 508 Compliance tools: ANDI, JAWS, and Deque Axe Dev Tools Pro Browser extension

• Experience with the MEDLOG IT PMO Defense Medical Logistics – Enterprise Solution (DML-ES) suite of applications; DMLSS, JMAR (Reporting and Analytics), NORA, DCAM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in programming languages: JAVA, XML, PL/SQL, HTML, and CSS

• Knowledge of the technical refresh of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System to the LogiCole application

• Jira configuration and/or reporting experience particularly in developing dashboards/reports for related metrics

• Experience in converting legacy systems to modern technologies

• Expertise in designing and maintaining Selenium Web Driver scripts with Java

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen and be willing and able to obtain and maintain a DOD Public Trust prior to starting this position

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
