Full health & welfare benefits, 401(k), PTO What You Will Do: The Senior Quality Inspector is a dual role position for inspecting and ensuring the quality of radiators and other heat transfer equipment, as well as performing repair services both in house and at customer sites. This role combines technical inspection skills with hands-on repair expertise, requiring travel to various customer locations for offsite service. Responsibilities Include: Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished radiators to ensure they meet quality standards. Use various inspection tools and equipment to measure and verify product dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols to confirm compliance with design requirements. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and accurately document inspection results. Review and verify material certificates, ensuring that all materials comply with required specifications. Arrange for the calibration of gauges and other measurement instruments as needed. Identify non-conformities, report findings, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions. Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
