HERMLE USA INC Field Service Engineer in FRANKLIN, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: HERMLE USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Franklin, Wisconsin to install Hermle CNC controlled machine centers and provide technical support to distributors and costumers. Duties and responsibilities include: 1. Commissioning and installation of CNC controlled machining centers. 2. Briefing and training customers in operating and maintaining the equipment. Support with application related questions. 3. Troubleshooting and solving of electrical and mechanical issues at customer site. 4. Production support at customer site. 5. Troubleshooting and solving of control related issues. 6. Installation of retrofits. 7. Technical support of distributors. 8. Requires national travel throughout the United States to various customer locations approx. 4-5 days per week, plus international travel at least once per year. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requires: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, and at least 4 years of professional experience as Service Technician. The following special skills are required: - Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues of machine tools - Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Siemens control systems - Proficient knowledge of electronic and mechanical aspects of CNC machines, preferably 5-axis machines - Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics in machine tools - Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Mail a Rsum: HERMLE USA, Inc., Attn.
