Description

The Tier III Engineer is responsible for the engineering, operation, support, and maintenance of the company-wide network and systems (data and/or voice). This individual will work with a small team to support one of ProvenIT’ s partners in the health care industry, specifically Ambulatory Surgical Centers. This individual will be a key team member to facilitate new locations coming on board by doing initial environment assessments, doing project design and implementation along with providing high level support for the environment. Help shape and implement a cloud first initiative. Much of the work is done remotely in collaboration with other team members or third-party partners.

Responsibilities

  • Become the “go to” person when it comes to anything related to the environment.

  • Assist in new facility assessments, Onboarding, Projects, Support.

  • Assist in building projects and roadmaps to improve technology.

  • Identify, recommend, and build SOW for new recommendations/projects.

  • Assist in building documentation that supports managing and supporting the environment.

  • Manage and Support multiple O365 and Azure environments.

  • Manage and Support MS Teams Voice, Third party VoIP systems.

  • Manage and Support Meraki/Sophos network infrastructure across multiple locations.

  • Manage and Support other systems, email filter, LOB applications, backup, and monitoring tools, etc.

  • Implement deployment and management automation.

  • Identify common support issues and find ways to eliminate them from reoccurring.

  • Cross train other team members and provide leadership to them.

  • Occasionally travel to customer sites.

  • May need to respond 24/7 to emergency outage situations.

  • Attend and contribute to meetings.

  • Maintain proper project and ticket management.

  • Maintain Network and system documentation.

  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or combination of related experience and certifications.

  • 7 plus years of experience as Tier III or higher.

  • Working experience in Ambulatory Surgical Centers highly desired.

  • Training or certification of general HIPAA

  • Heavy experience in O365, MFA, InTune, SharePoint, AD/AAD, Radius Auth.

  • Scripting, Git, Automation.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and systems automation.

  • Knowledge of back up technology and cloud technology.

  • Strong understanding of server, network, storage, virtualization infrastructure.

  • Experience with many network/system/O365 migrations.

  • Must possess advanced level analytical, communication and technology skills.

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

  • Strong self-starter and ambition to constantly improve environment and Self.

  • Strong sense of accountability and pride.

  • Must maintain confidentiality of information and be very dependable.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladder

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces such as but not limited to server closets, under desks, etc.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
