Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Franklin, TN location.

Duties: Designs, modifies, develops, and implements technology solutions. Builds modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals. Participates in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices. Infuses quality of service characteristics, including scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based frameworks to create or expand business or technical capabilities. Contributes insight from prior experiences when considering design specifications, considering the goals of the consumer-facing product.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Designing and developing microservices using Angular and Spring Boot, implementing RESTful APIs, and utilizing unit test frameworks, including Junit, Mockito, and Powermock, to deliver bug free code; Utilizing industry standard design patterns to implement microservices integration with third-party systems, databases, and external APIs; Utilizing messaging systems, including Kafka and RabbitMQ, for inter-service communication and event-driven architecture; Utilize IDPs, including PingOne’s pre-built connectors and standards such as SAML & OAuth; Utilizing AWS S3 as document repository and building APIs to comply with data standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS; Utilizing Ansible and Python with Gitlab pipeline integration to minimize environment downtime and propagate quality deliverables to live environments; Developing presentation layers in Angular, Ajax, and business logic in Java using controllers, service classes, and repositories for ORM, including hibernate; Utilizing Atlassian tech stacks, including JIRA, Crucible, and Bitbucket, to plan, assign, track, report, and manage work, review tickets against committed code, and manage repositories; Utilizing CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab, and bamboo, to automate build processes and testing, perform continuous integration management, and to manage build results and deployment; and Utilizing code scanning tools, including Blackduck and NexusIQ, to evaluate developed code and resolve potential security vulnerabilities thereby reducing security risks.
