Job Title: Forklift/Order Picker

Job Description

The Order Picker will be responsible for picking orders to be shipped, operating a stand-up forklift, using an RF scanner, and following picking sheets to assigned locations. The role includes building orders to customer specifications, palletizing and wrapping orders, verifying shipping counts, and repacking parts into minimal boxes for shipping via UPS or FedEx Ground.

• Build orders to customer specifications

• Palletize and wrap orders

• Verify shipping counts

• Repack parts into minimal boxes for shipping via UPS or FedEx Ground

Essential Skills

• Stand-up forklift experience

• Ability to read and follow basic schematics

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to speak, read, and write English

• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous order picking experience

• Basic computer skills

• No degree required

Work Environment

The company assembles various water softeners and filters for residential and commercial industries. The work environment is very clean and state-of-the-art, focused on employee well-being. The position is for the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) with a pay rate of $17 per hour on a contract-to-hire basis. Employees will perform assembly of small sub-assemblies for filters by hand and using basic hand tools. Some material handling duties and lifting up to 30 lbs are required. The ability to read and write English is a must.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50
