Job Title: Sr Electrical EngineerJob Description

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Power/Engine background to support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of digital/analog circuits, aircraft power systems, and test equipment. The role involves supporting the life cycle of new product development from concept through design and development, testing, and product support.

Responsibilities

• Support the life cycle of new product development from concept, through design and development, testing, and product support.

• Develop embedded control architectures, algorithms, and requirements for high-power energy conversion systems.

• Develop embedded software design and programming of microcontrollers and/or DSPs for control of power converters using C programming language.

• Test hardware performance with embedded software/firmware, utilizing JTAG interface, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or similar equipment.

• Successfully transfer new designs to Production.

• Develop and execute test plans to validate that designs comply with product specifications.

• Design, develop, and generate test software on embedded and PC-based platforms for production and integration testing.

• Provide product support as appropriate by isolating faults and resolving design issues.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering product design and development.

• Embedded controls experience.

• Digital/Analog circuit design experience.

• Experience with embedded code generation and C programming language.

• Knowledge of interfacing microcontrollers and DSPs to analog, digital circuits, and electro-mechanical systems.

• Working knowledge of troubleshooting analog circuit design for signal measurements.

• Experience using JTAG interface, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or similar equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prefer five (5) years of hands-on experience in embedded software design programming microcontrollers and/or DSPs for control of power converters.

• Power engine background .

Work Environment

Manufacturing/Assembly environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday on the 1st Shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
