Summary: Administers the accurate tracking and management of maintenance, operations, and engineering management systems. This position will be actively involved in day-to-day operations supporting Maintenance Management through the use of JD Edwards CMMS software and other computer-based systems. Search for, identify, and order parts needed for repairs. Accurately enter information into various systems in a timely manner. Ability to work rotating shifts, straight shifts (nights or days) and weekends as business needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: (Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time.)

• Opens and Closes Work Orders

• Inputs the craftsmen’s labor hours

• Prints W/O’s and pick tickets

• Orders non-inventory parts and tracks non-inventory items

• Coordinates Oil Sampling

• Manages Asset Management Systems – E1, Safety information systems, Asset Tracking, Inventory Management, Overtime Equity, Vacation Scheduling, Time Entry

• Track Warranty Claims

• Communicates Operations Needs with Maintenance Foremen and Managers

• Prepares Daily Activity Reports

• Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Foremen and General Foremen

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

• Most positions require 2 – 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Technical positions may require up to 5 years of experience.
