About the Role:

The Manager, Talent Attraction/Branding will be responsible for managing and enhancing Confluent's talent acquisition and branding efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in talent acquisition, employer branding, and community building. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with business stakeholders, calculating ROI on branding materials, and managing mass email communications. This role will manage two resources and will have a global reach.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to discuss and strategize talent acquisition and branding initiatives.

  • Calculate and analyze the ROI of branding materials and campaigns to ensure effective use of resources.

  • Develop and execute mass email communication strategies to engage potential candidates and build talent communities.

  • Build and maintain talent communities to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the career site and other branding materials reflect Confluent's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance talent acquisition efforts.

  • Track and report on key metrics related to talent acquisition and branding initiatives.

  • Manage and mentor two team members to support global talent attraction efforts

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and employer branding.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate and interpret ROI on branding materials.

  • Experience in mass email communication and campaign management.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain talent communities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.

  • Experience with content creation and social media management.

  • Previous experience in a tech or data infrastructure company

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $145,500 - $171,000, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
