Avanade Inc. Managed Services Lead - Applications & Infrastructure and Data & AI (EME) in France (Remote), France

In a highly visible and strategic leadership role, the A&I and D&AI Managed Services Lead for EME will act as a strategic leader and business builder with a goal of Managed Services sales growth and increased market share for our EME region.

Demonstrating an innovative and results-oriented approach, you will achieve and exceed performance growth targets and establish Avanade as a leader in Managed Services. As a member of a highly matrixed and global environment, you will work closely with EME Regional Leadership, Sales Leadership, and other Solution Area Stakeholders, to implement a go-to-market strategy for originating, driving, and capturing Managed Services sales across our Applications, Infrastructure and Data Platform solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • with EME area and regional leadership, as well as colleagues in areas including the Integrated Go To Market and Center of Excellence, ISV partners and others, to implement a strategy that drives Managed Services origination and sales across the regions, in both our partner and direct business channels.

  • involved in client activities including origination, business case, solutioning and contracting.

  • the strategic relationship, commercial shaping, and capture of large-scale managed services opportunities.

  • to enable their team’s attainment of regional Managed Services sales targets.

  • with 1) regional leadership, 2) client account teams, 3) practice leaders, 4) Accenture teams 5) Advanced Technology Centers and 6) partner contacts, including Microsoft, to drive origination and sales initiatives measured through pipeline growth.

  • account leadership and business development teams on our A&I and D&AI Managed Services Portfolio and the respective legal and contracting specifics of Manage and Evolve deals.

  • , in a hands-on capacity, each region with their Managed Services sales strategy, sales forecast, campaigns, and capabilities.

Your profile:

You have passion, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurship in driving our Managed Services business. You have a demonstrated leadership track record in Managed Services sales and deal shaping acumen and developing and growing long term, high value client relationships. You bring energy to our clients and the various people you interact with daily, and you are adept at communications, especially with influencing and negotiation capabilities that help you establish and grow our Managed Services sales opportunities with key clients.

Internally, you enjoy advising leadership teams in the development, production, and promotion of our Managed Services sales and offerings to grow our Managed Services business.

In Addition, your Skills & Experience include:

  • Typically 10+ years of relevant sales, technology, and business leadership experience, including sales, solution selling, creation, delivery, and business management, and more than 5 years of demonstrated people and/or business leadership experience, particularly within a consultancy company.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic sales pursuits including executive stakeholder management.

  • Extensive experience in solutioning multi-tower deals, ideally including Applications, Infrastructure and Data &AI, to identify optimization and synergies to deliver the most compelling client proposal.

  • Ability to effectively team with peers in large, matrixed organizations, including experience with offshore teams and delivery

  • Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions/projects with heavy client interaction

  • Strong Managed Services background and preferably also a consulting/project-based background, which includes assessing and managing the qualification, value creation, sales capture, and contracting of large scale, complex Managed Services projects

  • Strong point of view on emerging trends in technology including Managed Services, Azure, Application Development, Agile/DevOps, Microsoft development platforms, cloud platforms (Azure), Data platforms and analytics, RPA and Intelligent Automation

  • Significant experience in C-suite (and minus one) client interactions including presentations, workshops and joint solutioning.

  • Excellent leadership & communication skills, especially strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.

  • Bachelors degree or relevant technology business leadership experience.

  • As required, travel to meet with clients and support sales pursuits.
