DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will manage inmate workers as they complete their assignments. You will conduct orientation for inmate workers, which includes facility and plant regulations, job expectations, and safety guidelines. Your responsibilities will include training and supervising inmates in tasks such as preparing shipping orders, invoices, packing lists, inventory records, and other record-keeping duties. Additionally, you will oversee the packaging, storage, and shipping of finished goods. This position also involves training and monitoring inmate workers in the operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery used in the shipping and receiving processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,664.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
