JBI Construction Steel Fabricator/Welder (local Applicants Only) in Fountain, Colorado
John Bowman Inc, a.k.a. JBI Construction, has been in business for more than 60 years providing the Department of Defense with quality construction services across the Front Range. JBI's Steel division is currently seeking steel fabricators.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years recent commercial or industrial experience. Recent experience with construction and material handling equipment (forklift, manlift, etc.) Must be able to work 10 hours days beginning at 6:00 a.m. (schedule may fluctuate). Must have your own individual transportation and a valid Driver's License. Able to pass welding procedures certifications using SMAW and MIG processes. Able to interpret steel details and shop drawings. Due to the importance of safety in this position, all applicants must be fluent in English. Fluency requires the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Welding and fabrication skills are required, no on-site training available.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on various government installations. Must be willing to respond to multiple tasks as required.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. Motor Vehicle Report and background will be checked on qualified applicants.
