Surgical Technician/Assistant

As our Fort Worth location continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgical Technician/Assistant to join our exceptional team!

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician who is ready to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for working independently while fully utilizing your skills, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical instrument sterilization, patient recovery, and more.

Compensation:

  • $19-$24/hr based on experience.

    Schedule:

  • 4-day work week (Monday-Friday)

  • Day shift: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

  • Some on-call shifts required

  • Weekends as needed

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent patient care and outstanding client service

  • Calculate and administer induction medications

  • Perform intraoperative anesthetic monitoring

  • Safely restrain patients and manage phlebotomy and catheter placement

  • Maintain surgical instruments, ensuring they are properly sterilized

  • Adapt to the individual needs of each patient

    Qualifications:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant

  • Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience (Required)

  • Strong clinical skills and a solid foundation in veterinary medications

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and uplifting hospital culture
