Logistics Product Data (LPD)

We are looking for inquisitive and driven integrators with a passion to innovate and identify opportunities.Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop cutting edge concepts for database development, maintenance, and integrations plus LPD product offering improvements. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with other integrated product teams including but not limited to systems engineering, reliability and maintainability engineering, maintenance task analysis, training, digital engineering, digital thread, and earned value teams.

What you’ll be doing as a Systems Integration Designer

  • This position is responsible for supporting the development of maintenance task analysis, technical manuals, provisioning, packaging, handling, storage and transportability, support equipment, facilities, and training requirements, progress measurements and reporting, and product quality reporting through administration of Supportability databases and applications.

  • Sustain the Supportability website development, maintenance, and identification of new technologies conducive to web publishing.

  • Responsible for facilitation of product deliveries in electronic and other formats to customers.

  • Compiling and generating status reports and audits concerning the configuration and location of all software and hardware associated with electronic computing assets.

  • You will also work internally on LPD system integration solutions with CAMEO, SLIC Wave LC, Reliasoft, Relyence, Teamcenter, Rapid Manual, Rapid Catalog, Capital Harness Systems, Earned Value Management, JIRA, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft DEV OPS, where you will be expected to provide technical support, automation, and connectivity for in house process integration projects.

  • Assist in the administering of the common source database (CSDB) through Teamcenter and keeping track of bugs and proposed solutions within our enterprise IT development teams or where we need to procure outside to other vendors in which you could be tasked with proposed solution writing through authored statement of works.

  • This is an opportunity for you to put your thumbprint on how the LPD team works cohesively, accurately, and timely with the United States Army, and future military sales teams across the logistics product data ecosystem now and for the next 60 decades and beyond.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role

  • Primary responsibility is the development, administration, and maintenance of Supportability databases, which includes packaging of batch reports or data files to customer along with incorporation of compatible data files from partners and vendors.

  • Capable of maintaining application server current patch levels supplied by vendor.

  • Ability to monitor server/database for potential performance and provide recommendations or solutions for integration.

  • Design for Development automated interfaces between user applications that will minimize the duration and complexity of computer training requirements for department personnel.

  • Ability to identify, develop, and maintain databases and database application programs that provides measurement reports and other resource information about processes.

  • Capable of developing optimum integrated processes, which meet supportability goals and objectives.

  • Evaluation of workflow and activities to determine more efficient work processes.

  • Design and develop new supportability processes through interaction within enterprise IT solution offerings.

What you need to be successful

  • We are looking for inquisitive and driven integrators and database administrators with a passion to innovate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.

  • 3 years of specific data integration support experience required.
