Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern. In this role, you will; use the latest systems engineering tools to capture complex architectures, hardware and software to be evaluated for current and next generation aircraft, link miliary and industry standards to requirements and test cases, evaluate small company technologies to be considered for in use fighter aircraft. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of SysML and tools used to capture SysML based designs.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Pursuing a bachelors degree in systems engineering or other related field

-One Class Familiarity with SysML and tools used to capture SysML based designs

Desired Skills:

-Pursuing a Masters Degree or PHD in Systems Engineering

-Cameo Experience or Course Work

-Matlab/Simulink

-Use of System Engineering Lifecycle reviews in a design project

-Risk Management

-Marketing of Engineering Technologies

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
