Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer – Early Career (HYBRID TELEWORK) in Fort Worth, Texas

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Fort Worth for a Systems Engineer supporting the JSF program. As a hire on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. In this important role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with outside customers. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Supports risk assessments and risk mitigation plans, including balancing technical risks between systems.
• Leverages Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of functional, architectural, and detailed designs. Incrementally develops design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.
• Performs hardware troubleshooting.
• Supports and provides guidance on operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
• Works continuously and cross-functionally to analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts. Provides technical direction and clarification of requirements within the DevSecOps team.
Basic Qualifications:
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or in a related STEM field
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in testing of
electronic equipment / Lab support (includes college
experience)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience reading and understanding Engineering Technical Documents (includes college experience)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in a Project Organization (includes college experience)
Desired Skills:
• Experienced with CE Mark compliance testing with focus in EMI/EMC testing and product safety evaluations.
• Electrical engineering background.
• Experience performing ATEX evaluations.
• RF Testing Experience
• Deep understanding of CE, FCC, DO-160, and MIL STD-461 testing
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment
• Experience in Qualification Testing Document Development
• Experience executing work under quality management standards like ISO 17025 and AS9100
• Microsoft Office M365 Applications

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
