We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
Support Equipment Engineering
Support Equipment Engineering at Bell is responsible for design activities related to preparation and release of engineering data for electrical and mechanical components and assemblies of varying complexities in support of aircraft maintenance.
Furthermore, support equipment engineering supports the manufacturing, assembly, first article test and validation of peculiar support equipment and ensures compliance with all best practice, customer, and industry specifications for the safe use of support equipment on air vehicles.
Finally, support equipment engineering supports fielded products with design and product improvements, engineering investigations, production support, and liaison with the customer.
What you'll be doing as a Support Equipment Embedded Test Engineer:
Create detail, assembly, and installation support equipment design definition in 3D technical data.
Support manufacturing and testing of support equipment components, assemblies, and end items interpreting technical data and assisting in product improvements.
Participate in a cross functional team environment completing a variety of objectives depending on the program lifecycle.
Advance the state-of-the-art of support equipment through creativity, personal and team research, technical competence, and strong analytical skills.

We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.Must have demonstrated success working in an IPT environment and articulating technical data and concepts to a wide audience of individuals of different technical backgrounds.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and comfortable interacting withExperience with Military/Commercial Avionics design or maintenance, Operational Test Program Sets and Automated Test Equipment.Experience with ENOVIA, 3DX PLM software, and Cameo Systems ModelerFamiliar with S1000D Publication Specification and GEIA-STD-007 Logistics Product Data.
What you need to be successful:
Minimum 5 years design experience in an aerospace or automotive environment focused on electrical and mechanical components.Bachelor's degree with a Major in Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
