Who You Are

The Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is seeking a Subcontract Management Staff, Level 4

Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages and resolve supplier performance issues. In this role, you will make a difference to our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on-time delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

The selected candidate will be a part of the Advanced Development Program (Skunkworks) Procurement team for major systems. The candidate will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. The individual will lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access, and candidate will need to possess the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, after hire.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college

• Communication, organization and project management

• Experience leading a cross-functional team

• Experience in acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR / DFAR requirements

• Experience Problem solving

• Experience interacting with leadership; as well as internal & external customers on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership including (1) Deliver Results, (2) Shape the Future, (3) Build Effective Relationships, (4) Energize the Team and (5) Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability

• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

• Experience working developmental US DoD contracts

• Experience managing critical major suppliers

• Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
