Who You Are

The individual selected for this position will be the GSC Actions Officer within the GSC Operations Project Office driving integration between LM Aero Operations and GSC Executive Leadership.

What You Will Be Doing

• Driving operational excellence in managing the business rhythm, metrics, templates, standard processes, communications and day-to-day operations for the Global Supply Chain Team.

• High organization, communication, and leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership, lines of businesses, proposal teams, functional departments, and corporate offices.

• Identifying opportunities, constructively navigate complex issues, and influence senior management on relevant topics.

• Handling of abstract issues and development of solid plans and communication strategies to effectively respond to internal or external customers.

• Functioning as a member of the GSC Operations team and is called on to manage projects, assess issues, and assist with developing resolutions.

• Working independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed.

• Integrating cross-functionally at various levels within the organization to drive Procurement objectives and requires both internal and external customer interface.

Must be a US Citizen. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Government Security Clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Experience in Supply Chain Management (At least 3 years)

- Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies

- collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas

- Experienced communicator, with documented presentation and organizational skills

Desired Skills:

- Experience in Project Management

- Experience in Tableau

- Experience as a Mentor or Team Lead

- Experience interfacing with Executive Senior Leadership

- Subject Matter Expert in any of these areas: PCA, Supplier -Performance, Demand Planning, MRP, Sustainment, Procurement Metrics

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
