Aero Production Engineering Central Services (PECS) organization is looking for a strong, self-motivated individual to join the Planning Central Services team as a Planning Role Strategy Lead Manufacturing Engineer (ME). This role individual will work with other PE Strategy leads to bring together their respective common enterprise strategy. Through the establishment of Communities of Practice (CoP), the Planning Role Strategy Lead coordinates across the different programs, BAs, and functions to share lessons learned & define best practices for the Planning function.

The ideal candidate should be a Subject Matter Expert for the ME Planning discipline. He/she will:

• Develop a strategy for the Planning function and build/sustain a roadmap

• Create playbooks, job guides, and training to support the documentation of best practices & lessons learned and to transfer knowledge across PE.

• Stay engaged in technology trends and help advance the technology in the ME Planning function, including the Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), to ensure PE is at the forefront of technology.

• Support Digital Transformation (DX) capability development by leveraging the CoPs for information share and as a technical stakeholder of the system/process solution.

• Use their experience with legacy PLM and MES applications to provide input on how similar functionality could be accomplished in next generation systems for both current and future program needs

• Consult and participate in various activities to transform the business and execute next generation manufacturing, as an ME Planning SMI.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Significant experience in the ME Planning discipline.

• Complete understanding of principles related to creating/maintaining Manufacturing Bills of Material and work instructions.

• Clear understanding of ME Planning Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently: Proven experience in managing tasks and projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and accountability

• Strategic Thinking: Strong capacity to shape and influence the technical direction and strategy of the organization, aligning team efforts with overall business objectives

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance per business requirements

Desired Skills:

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team, fostering collaboration and guiding the group toward achieving strategic goals

• 3DX, Teamcenter and/or iBaset experience

• Change Management experience preferred

• Model-based environment experience

• Ability to Engage and work in a virtual environment with team members across numerous sites

• Active Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $112,800 - $216,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $129,700 - $244,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
