Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry based in FORT WORTH, Texas. The role primarily involves overseeing general accounting functions, assisting in financial projects, and collaborating with external auditors when necessary. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

• Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure timely and accurate financial information

• Analyze financial data and present financial reports accurately and in a timely manner

• Participate in the formulation of annual budgets and develop comprehensive financial forecasts

• Coordinate the preparation of all federal, state, and local tax returns

• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations

• Implement strategies to optimize accounting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets, create charts, and use advanced formulas

• Collaborate with external auditors when needed

• Assist in other finance projects as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.

• Candidate must have experience with Month End Close and Month-end Close Activities.

• Ability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is a requirement.

• Familiarity with the Epicor software is crucial for this role.

• Candidates must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong communication skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
