AUI Partners Renewable Energy Intern in Fort Worth, Texas
As a Renewable Energy Intern, you will be working directly with project team members and will have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge with hands-on experience. We are seeking passionate individuals who have a desire to continue their future in Renewable Energy construction.
Please note this is a paid internship. Office location is at our headquarter office Fort Worth, TX .
Responsibilities:
Assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents
Attend project meetings with project personnel, operations management team, and client/owner representatives
Conduct safety audits and quality audits
Read and understand drawings and specifications
Log submittals, process RFI’s and prepare reports
Coordinate material deliveries and documentation
Assist in preparing memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
Assist with all project documentation and data entry tasks
Assist with the coordination and communication with subcontractors and vendors
Represent AUI with the highest standard of professionalism at all times
You will provide a presentation to the management team at the end of your internship to provide insight into your experience.
Perform other duties as needed
May be required to travel to jobsites.
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or renewable energy/electrical engineering.
A desire to continue pursuing a career in the construction industry (Renewable Energy preferred)
Strong computer skills are a necessity
Coachable and willing to learn
Can work in a team or individually
Be available to work full-time during the internship period and travel/relocate to job sites (Per diem offered when travel is required)
Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
Valid Driver’s License and state minimum auto insurance required as you may have to travel to a jobsite
Reliable transportation required
