Actalent Healthcare is now hiring certified pharmacy technicians to work onsite for a closed door speciality pharmacy in Keller, TX!

Are you tired of the demands and challenges of working in a retail pharmacy environment, including the requirement to work weekends? If so, I have exciting news for you. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be joining our team in a role that is Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.

In this position, you'll utilize your intake pharmacy technician and computer skills to play a vital role in our patient care workflow. Your key responsibilities will include:

Description:

• review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate info received

• create patient profile from a scan or fax image by entering correct patient and provider info

• conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing

• communicate with provider regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing info, or patient concerns

• updating concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of referral

• enter in new provider information

Incentives / Benefits:

• Pay $21-$23hr

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must have an active TSBP certification

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with 2+ yrs experience OR Pharmacy Technician Trainee
