Robert Half Network Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description

Robert Half is currently working with a client in Fort Worth in need of a Network Engineer.

POSITION: NETWORK ENGINEER (100% ONSITE)

LOCATION: FORT WORTH

DURATION: CONTRACT TO CONVERSION

RATE: $43-$52/HR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA or Network+ or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, Cisco IOS networking and routing, and EtherChannel.

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience working with Cisco network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).

  • Familiarity with firewalls including SonicWall, Cisco ASA, Firepower, and Palo Alto.

  • Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle and resolve critical issues.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all business dealings.

  • Experience in a network and IT system environment, including protocols (TCP/IP), equipment, and services (DNS).

  • Previous experience monitoring server performance and managing block-level backup and associated backup/recovery methods.

  • Palo Alto experience.

  • CCNP certification (plus).
