Mission Control I / Fulltime

We’re looking for qualified Mission Control Transporter like you to join our Texas Health family.

Work hours: Fulltime (Hours)- M-F 10am-6:30pm

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need:

Education

· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Experience

· 6 Months related experience Preferred or

· 6 Months customer service Preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Skills

Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude. Excellent verbal communication. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful. Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

What You Will Do:

· Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.

· Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.

· Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.

· Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.

· Monitors systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.

· Secures necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control.

· Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.

· Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
