Adecco US, Inc. Medical Collections in Fort Worth, Texas
Adecco is hiring immediately for a Medical Collections role with a local client in Fort Worth, TX. Pay is: $17/hr. - $25/hr.
Duties:
· Ensuring that healthcare providers receive accurate and timely payments for their services.
· Contacting patients, insurance companies, and government agencies to verify coverage, submit claims, negotiate rates, and resolve disputes.
· Monitoring accounts: To identify outstanding debts and investigate historical data.
· Finding and contacting clients to ask about overdue payments and encourage timely debt payments.
· Processing payments and refunds and resolving billing and customer credit issues.
· Ensuring accurate billing and submitting electronic and/or paper claims in a timely manner
· Monitoring claim status and researching rejections and denials.
· Documenting account activities and posting adjustments and collections.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
2 years of office experience in medical collections
Must possess knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) and understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and denial codes.
Attention to detail and can prioritize independently.
The ability to multi-task and in a busy office environment
Proficient customer service skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office

Pay Details: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour
