Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical systems in various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals to clients.
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project teams and management.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical estimating.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical estimating, preferably in a design-build environment.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field null
